Using Uber Abroad. Foreign Fees?

I linked my Halifax Clarity Mastercard to my Uber account as I rarely travel outside the EU. No loading fee, no commission, and en excellent exchange rate in my experience.

I'm asking due to it all being through one particular app no matter what country you are based in, therefore it would want to use the card that is registered there, unless you change it over to whatever card you'd want to use abroad

I can confirm, having used Uber in at least 3 different countries (at least one outside of Europe) that you will not be charged a non sterling transaction fee. Every time I have used abroad the amount shown on my Uber account has been in the currency for that particular country, but the amount debited from my current account has always been a decent exchange rate and have never had a non sterling transaction fee.
