    Thanks

    I assume it is fairly quick and easy to open an account?

    Should be its not HSBC.
  • Ended up;

    Upgrading Flexi Account to Flex Direct to continue having same Act and SC and for salary to continue to be paid into
    Opening new Flexi Account to use for £150 a month

    Also, took advantage of the Overdraft they offered me - Thought best to have a high as possible one as never know, probably flawed logic - don't intend on using it tho and understand if ever need to, better options available for credit

    That's not a bad thing to do, but you should also still consider opening an account at another bank. If Nationwide has a serious technical issue then all your eggs in one basket and you'll have no access to your money. You only have to ask a few RBS/NatWest/Ulster bank customers how they feel about this!
