Oh leanfun - that sounds like the sort of thing I would do! Hope your recovery is a quick one.
Congrats on the win Firefly. I have won Italian food prizes a few times over the years, my favourite cuisine.

I am waiting for some free items to arrive to review, but I've also had a few bought items arrive. There's just as much pleasure in the delivery when they were real bargains. I have a book on the way as well.

As a condition of the clothing review for a supermarket I have to wash each item three times - so I've been wearing them quite a lot. Good job I like them!

I think someone else here does GfK surveys - Sheila?

Well, normally I take any GfK rewards in Amazon e-gift cards.
However these have been out of stock for a while, so I had a go at printing out a Tesco gift card online to use in store. It was a surprisingly stress free process. It's not really worth doing for £1, but for a fiver it is.

I always use good quality paper as DD uses my printer a lot for important stuff that needs printing and printing on cheap paper causes problems. So I have no worries that the gift card won't be accepted - touch wood!

It also keeps the value of the groceries the card will buy as cash in my bank account. I haven't had any wins from their survey draws for a few weeks, but crossing my fingers. This most recent reward was for completing longer surveys every day for a week.
Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.

Morning everyone. Bit overcast here this morning but supposed to brighten up later. Have to head out at some point today as we have local council elections here. So a visit to the Polling Station is on the cards. Luckily it is at local school for me so only a five minute walk. Hope everyone is well.

Thanks everyone. I'm back to resting again. I did too much at the weekend before hurting my knee and back again.

We have GS here today as although he is better he has to be 48 hours before he can go to school. He's watching TV so was not amused when I changed channels to see what was happening at the palace. Duke of Edinburgh deserves to retire. I think it's going to be an end of an era soon.

Very dull here today. Hope some have sunshine today.

Hope all goes well with SW today Sylvia. Katie pleased you are going back to it. Well done to both of you.

I too thought of FireFly and the puzzles today. Hope you race through them.

    Good luck everyone.

Home again. Voting done. I forgot just how steep the hill was going down to the primary school. I am now completely done in walking back up it lol. Luckily I had my fold up walking stick in my bag or I would never have made it. DS phoned just before I went out and he said he would stop in and take me to polling station as he was on his way home from naval base. Told him not to be so silly as it only a five minute walk. Wont be refusing again if he offers for election next month. Leanfun take care and rest up. Let others do whatever needs doing.

Nipped up to lidl for some milk and cheese and they have three t-shirts on for £5 had a look at them and they looked ok. Just plain scooped neck with a capped sleeve. One of the girls told me she had bought one to try and it washed ok on a gentle wash. So giving them a try.
