Have got a face primer and foundation to test. Hopefully there will be no reaction lol but it seems ok so far as it is on the inside of my wrist and not on my face. DS has just given me a phone call he will be home from his promotional stint in Plymouth/Porstmouth tomorrow night and wants some homemade soup and lasagne. DIL is going to pick them up tomorrow. (Got some in freezer) GK's want grans soup. so will have to get pot on tomorrow. Going to make something really horrible some time and test it out on them. Then maybe they wont want my cooking. (only kidding) I loved my grans cooking she could make something very tasty out of very little. Still love stovies till this day.

Arghhhhh so instead of common sense and leaving them with a neoghbour they have taken them to the post depot which means I can't collect for 24 hours and also means it will be 48 since my "guaranteed" delivery date so flowers will probably be dead. So frustratingm why on earth send flowers by Royal Mail

Such a shame Becks, hope flowers will be ok. I have had flowers delivered by RM and the stems were in a bag with water filled foam ball.

Fingers crossed they will be ok. Company have said they will send more if they arent but as same thing would probably happen again I wouldn't ask them to do that. Just one of those things. I lucky anyway as there are always flowers in the house but a fancy one from a florist would have been a nice treat

I have 3 lots of flowers in house this week Becks but only because it was my birthday on Monday. Only get them on birthdays and Mother's Day!

Morning,hope you have all have a good couple of days. I have had a busy time at work but now have 2 days off.Hoping it'd going to be as nice as it was yesterday. It was lovely and sunny and warm.I want to get out in the garden and get it tidied up.Just put my first load of washing on,one of many to get done today..lol. Where does it all come from?

Morning everyone. ff I am making macaroni cheese today and I am upping mustard content. lol kiddywinks and dil wont say anything but ds will probably say it is not as good as your usual. Not strong complaint but a complaint. Love cooking for them and Dil keeps asking me for recipes. I do not have recipes just cook. Cannot cook a beef stew to save my life and family will tell you that. Lamb Chicken and veg yes I can do.

Been spoilt with the weather this week so it had to come - it is raining!
Supposed to dry up for a little while but stay cloudy.
Seems to have been a stressful week with so much happening and DS3 being home too. looking forward to a week on Sunday when we are going to Glasgow for 2 nights and then up to Glencoe.

Funny how we are all good at different recipes rose. DH makes wonderful braising steak and always cooks the roasts. My speciality is steak pie - big family favourite.

Hope you get up to date FF. I never am so just muddle along!

He is here... Jenson James arrived at 2.30 yesterday weighing 7lbs and is a bundle of gorgeous!!!!

Everyone is well and super excited to meet our new bundle of joy:j:j
