Hi everyone, just a quick pop in. Arrived safely in Durham and all OK here although what will happen to my weight I am not sure LOL.

That's rubbish your wages not being so good Wingo, Good luck with the other job.

Hope the decorators are nearly finished firefly and you can get back to normal.

Hope your flowers arrive soon Becks. I don't do flower comps anymore after I won 12 months worth from Debenhams. They never came on time and were not good when they arrived. Would never order flowers from Debenhams thats for sure.

Hope you are OK after going to the funeral today Sheils.

Glad you are feeling better Rose.

Hi leanfun, hope you are OK.

will try and pop in when I can.

Exciting for you luckofthedraw :j good luck, keep us informed xx

Sheils, glad all went respectfully well today xx They do say you either see families at funerals or weddings but it is nice to catch up with people you've not seen for a while.

Thinking of you today Katie too xx

You'll soon have all your decorating done and dusted fire**fly! It's such a relief when everything is back to normal :)

Alfie, that's what I need too, a new hairbrush! DH has been using mine with all his man products which has ruined my hairbrush. :o I was wondering why my hair suddenly started feeling claggy lately! Good idea with keeping on top of mowing the lawn all year round have the weather for it there. It's always dank and miserable here but been glorious today though.

Glad you are feeling better Rose :)

Ooh Leanfun I do like an old piano :) I always wanted one ever since I was little but just ended up with keyboards!

Enjoy your stay at Durham Sylvia and hope you get yourself some bargains too if you go shopping.

I got another luckydip on the lottery tonight! One of these days them lucky dips might be more luckier money wise! :D
I've put my other job application in today so will have to wait to find out next week. I don't get paid enough in my current job to be kicked, punched, bit, hair pulled and spat at! As much as I love them kids!
My lovely DD1 bought me a gel eye mask that I've been looking for to help when I've got a migraine so I'm gonna go to bed with it on my eyes and see if I can sleep. I'm so tired but seem to have insomnia lately too!
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

Morning everyone. Bright and sunny here. Was raining most of the night but dried up now. Hopefully it will stay that way while I am out this morning. Wrote myself a note last night to remember and pick up lemons from Lidl. Well done on luckydip win. Leanfun I played piano as a child. Loved my old upright. Taught son basics on his electric keyboard and have done same with GS. Son then went on to play guitar. but I think if you can play basics on keyboard then it is easier to pick up other instruments. Every New Years Day it was right rose we are having a sing song piano time and I would accompany them. Hope everyone is well. Be lucky. Off out in about an hour so back later.

Morning. A lot brighter this morning thankfully and quite mild.

    Thinking of you luckofdraw.

    Sheils pleased yesterday went well.

Rose great you are musical just wish I had been. Our DD2 is very musical and did so well at piano and flute. Brought back memories when you said Bout Ne Year. At Christmas our three would always be performing for us. Great times.

Wingo as Sheils suggested you should check about your rate. They do make mistakes. They also try and do pay the lowest amount they can. It sounds as though you should be looking for a change.

Alfie thinking of you in your garden I might venture out too.

Sylvia enjoy your visit bet they have been missing you and are over the moon to see you.

Better try to catch up. Good luck everyone.

Firefly take your time with puzzles.

    in my beloved garden. :Djardinage0.gif

Been out this morning and ordered bags of potting soil for
pots/tubs etc so that'll keep me busy at the weekend! Got
quite a few pots etc to fill - all ready for planting up when
    the time is right. :p

So pleased the funeral went well sheils - it's nice to catch
up with relations. I seem to catch up with some relatives at
either christenings, weddings or funerals. :o

I hope you receive your bouquet of flowers soon Becks.
    Fingers n' paws crossed.

How exciting theluckofthedraw! :j Please keep us
    informed. :j

Have a wonderful stay in Durham sylv - are you planning on
any 'retail therapy' while you're there. :D

That's so lovely of your DD1 :A buying you a gel eye mask
wingo that you've been looking for. So very thoughtful. I do
hope it helped you last night and that you managed to get a
decent sleep with no migraine. :T

Well ... best scuttle off and get an early bite to eat. Have a lovely
day all and take care. :)
