Good morning, quick pop in as have hospital app to fit a 24hr BP monitor thing this morning.
Haven't tried the stain remover firefly but will do next time I need it. Will let you know what I think.
Weight loss is quite slow but steady which is the best way I think.
Must run, catch you later, have a lovely day everyone.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
Love the pic Sylvia.
I haven't tried the stain remover yet either.
Hope your appointement goes well Sylvia. Hope your BP turns out to be Ok.
It's very cold and dull and dark here today and looks like rain. I'm off soon to meet my brother who is coming up from Kent for a hospital appointment.
Sheils hope you are enjoying time with your DS3.
Wingo if you really don't like that job it might be time for a change.

Been wet here but looks like it is drying up now. Hope so as have more of DS3's clothes to hang out. Had forgotten how much more work there was with the kids at home!
Been adding the Astonish Mag Dailies to my bookmarks as feeling left out as I haven't won any :D Had so many others to enter last few months I didn't really enter them as had limited time while away.
Bookmarks needed updating with a few new comps anyway.
Hope they sort out your BP soon Sylvia - must be annoying for you.
Leanfun, enjoy a catch up with your brother.
Sounds like you have been busy already FF. Wish I was more tidy!
Hope you get out to your garden Alfie.
Have a lovely day everyone and good luck for a nice WEM.

No wins here but I have a new memory foam mattress en route to me to review for Amazon.
I was desperate for one as mine is disintegrating rapidly following a good few years of use.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... Hi,
update before a busy weekend, no news on baby yet I think he's comfy where he is! He's not due till Tuesday really so hopefully he will make an appearance soon:j
Well done everyone with the cleaning bundles, they sound good, must admit it made me go to our under the sink cupboard and have a clear out - its surprising how many of the same thing I've got but keep buying because its on offer! I've done a list and stuck it to the inside of the cupboard door and will tick off when they are used one by one to keep a tally - I am really bored today!:)
Hubbys birthday today, going to a 50th tomorrow day/ night and out for a meal Sunday lunch for hubbys birthday
wet and windy again here,
have a good weekend everyone,
speak soonx0 -
Hi everyone :hello:
Hope you're all ok. It's a lovely weather day now but
this morning it was absolutely chucking it down!
I was out getting my weekend provisions sorted and got
drenched.
Very well done with more weight loss sylv! :T Hope you got
your 24hr BP monitor machine fitted ok this morning.
I had to be fitted with one a couple of years back cos of BP
issues. It's a very clever m/c really ... keeps monitoring
your readings over a 24 hour period (as you carry on
doing what you would normally do ). At the end of the
24 hours they are able work out your blood pressure.
I had one fitted due to 'white coat syndrome' .... thankfully
my readings were ok.
That's brilliant having to review a memory mattress
mcculloch29 - especially as yours is in need of renewing
anyway! You've got the best job in the world! :j :T
Hi theluckofthedraw - sending your hubby birthday wishes!
Sounds as if you have got a full weekend ahead of
celebrations! _party_ Have a wonderful time. :T
Well, had best try and play catch up now with comps etc.
all ..... and take care.

I've never viewed reviewing for Am@zon as a job, more as a step-up hobby from comping, as comping stopped being so interesting for me when slogan competitions largely disappeared. There's a difference in the writing skills involved, but writing reviews requires far less imagination than slogans.
One of my fellow reviewers had only a phone to write her reviews on and limited time to do them, so wrote quite a few as haikus.
I've just had a go to see if I could write one about the food mincer/baby food maker I got sent earlier this week:
Mincer is sturdy, strong,
Needs two bowls when using it
Bit of a faff, really.
The thing has loads of reviews and the majority of my reviews are around 250 words so I might just post that!
Edit... The mincer is fairly useless really, so I eventually posted this:
This is hard to clean
Needs two small bowls to use it
Too much faff, really..Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
Morning everyone . Dull damp and cold here. Not been online much this week. Hope everyone is well.0

Looking bright here at the moment.
Parents arrived back last night but dad is still having bother with his hip/legs so off to Dr on Monday. It is always a worry when they are away as really I don't think they are fit to go. Mum isn't that old but she does have memory problems and dad is 83.
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend.
