Been a wet night here but sun shining away now.
Hope no-one was affected too badly by storm Aileen.

Glad you had a great time in Blackpool wingo. Hope DD1 settles in soon.
Is DD2 liking her new school?

Going to have to go and get some food shopping and hopefully after that it will still be dry and we can get a walk.

DD2 likes secondary school Sheils and has made new friends. Although she missed the bus this morning and was in tears so I rang school who were ok about it!
DD1 had a college trip to metro centre today but she didn't cope very well and had been ringing/texting me but I don't have phone on at work. Not that I could have come and collected her though!

I don't think I saw any storm last night fire**fly! I dozed off on sofa and briefly heard the rain when I woke up!

Glad all was ok with your eyes Alfie It's amazing what technology they have now! I hate the bit where they turn your eye lids over _pale_ I'm supposed to wear bifocals too but they were so expensive and I only wear glasses in the house. I wear my contacts for work as the kids at work would pull my glasses off! They always pull my work fob and I've lost it somewhere today and thinking one of the kids might go home with it in their wheelchairs!

Hope you get time for yourself Sylvia! I can see you're always busy with GK's and pets

I still haven't found the heating control and it won't come on without it! I think DH has hidden it somewhere before the summer as he used to hide it when he had been on nights and in bed. Looks like we're probably gonna have to buy another.

Good Morning,

Lovely sunny morning here so have washing hung out already. Hope the showers don't appear like they did yesterday.
My "yougurt" supposed to be arriving today so hope they have kept it cold enough!

I would be really angy about the heating control wingo. Are you sure you can't do something at the boiler to switch it on? Glad DD2 enjoying new school and fingers crossed DD1 settles back into college soon.

Must admit wingo - I wasn't so keen on the eyelids being
turned over! _pale_ Luckily that part didn't last long.


Lol at naughty DH hiding the heating control. He
probably can't remember where he stashed it. Hope you
find it soon!

My "yougurt" arrived and it is really yummy! (had to taste it to make sure it hadn't gone off on its journey!) It came with large ice-cube things and free voucher for another one.
