Afternoon peeps. Sylvia have not spoken to cat owner today as she is off to work. Hopefully the little thing is recovering. It is mad so in the future we can look forward to some of its antics. Some are funny others you just say what has it just done.

Typical, we have nice weather while I'm digging out the house! My mums in Benidorm and I wish I was there with her!

Oh Alfie I haven't seen any spiders yet thankfully but got my spider catcher at the ready! I keep dreaming of them though! _pale_ Well done getting the fence painted with the paint you found

I sort of had a bit of a lazy day yesterday too fire**fly I just took DD to gymnastics but the bus journey tires me out! Glad you're feeling better today

Rose that made me chuckle about the poor cat jumping into vans and wandering off! I hope he made it back! My ex neighbours cat kept coming back for a while, I thought they'd left it!

Sheils I used to love blackberry crumble as a child :drool: I saw some bramble bushes full of berries the other day while walking with the kids. We were going to pick them on the way back but I had bought stuff from Asda and ended up getting a taxi back! My kids seem to think they've never tasted them! I will message you again before the weekend Sheils when you're down this way

I missed a phonecall earlier and it doesn't come up on whocallsme. Hope it wasn't a win!

Had a lovely day out today, there were 24 of us altogether. Managed to get some nice wool while I was there. Lunch was good too and enjoyed the company.

Sounds like you have been feeling under the weather Wingo and firefly so big hugs for you and anyone else that needs one.

DH has a chest infection at the moment and has to have blood tests but cant get an appointment until the end of the month.

Bit of light cloud here but that will soon clear and the
sun will come shining through it's already quite muggy
though! Apparently as the day goes on it's going to get rather
warm.


I thought the total eclipse shown on the TV yesterday was
amazing but ..... so typical of Trump - staring up to the sun
without wearing the special glasses :eek: until he was given a
subtle reminder! :doh:

Just out of curiosity - is it all ladies or are there also gentlemen
in the group? The reason I'm asking is because I know that
knitting has really taken off big time again and that quite a
few men have either taken up the hobby or have actually been
knitting for years.

Morning, dull and damp here at the moment. Hope the sun pops out as i am forgetting what it looks like..lol. Hope the cat is ok rose, sounds like it's got more than 9 lives with all the antics it gets up to. I have a couple of days off now so time to catch up with everything.Hope everyone has a lucky day.

Firefly take care. Sometimes we just have to slow down. I felt like that on a Sunday too even though I'm well and had a decent hair cut I'm Madeira.

Lo I should be on the move here. DD1 and GS coming back from Denmark today and I have to meet her to help her with luggage and car seat.
DD2 said they might come tomorrow with their two little ones but doubt if they will be ready. They had a big fire at a garage tyre workshop three doors away from them yesterday. Thankfully no one was hurt but they had to evacuate their house due to the smoke and risk it would spread.

Alfie loved your comment about Trump. So typical.

Better get cracking before the invasion. Good luck everyone.

Good Morning,

Hope everyone is feeling fine today. Not looking nice this morning but humid and sun supposed to come out this afternoon.
Will have to get organised for Dhs birthday tomorrow. Dd and her bf are coming up for dinner and as usual DH wants steak pie. It will be nice to have a little celebration just a shame more of family can't be here. He will be 70 next year, so that will be difficult to organise!
