That's scary about the hotel getting robbed Sheils. It's a good job DS doesn't work there anymore. The hotel we've got in Blackpool is norbreck castle and looks lovely. It's with national coaches DH had decided to put in for lots of sports courses throughout the summer holidays so he didn't have any weekends spare so I decided to go without him!

The rain has never stopped here and it's going to be the same until the weekend. I've put my heating back on today!

It ended up raining for most of the day yesterday but
this morning the garden is looking lovely and fresh - the
plants have perked up and all is well!

I even got the dreaded ironing done too which is a
bonus for me.

I'd not heard of the robbery sheils - hope everyone is ok.
It sounds really scary. :eek:

Just had a little peek at Norbreck Castle hotel via google
wingo - it looks lovely and very close to all the attractions
in Blackpool. Brilliant find! :T

Raining here again but will maybe dry up this afternoon. We did manage to cut the front lawn and cut back a large shrub which was over hanging the pavement yesterday .
Well done on the wins Sylvia and FF. The Russell Hobbs prize especially sounds great.
