:hello: Good morning everyone

Hope you're all ok.
It was a glorious day here yesterday so made the
most and was out gardening for a good part of the day.

Mowed the lawns early (when it was a tad cooler) then as it
warmed up - found myself nice shady spots to carry on
with this n' that. Had a very productive day!

Also got loads of washing dried - just got the dreaded
ironing to do! :eek:

Still no rain here sheils - maybe today will be the day!
Have a lovely meal this evening with DD - catching up
with all her latest news.

Oooh! Thank you very muchly for the rhubarb crumble

Morning, looks like we have rain on the way today. Glad i saw weather report as was going to hang washing out. Know how your daughter feels sheils as we have loads of traffic lights round here. You either get through them all or get caught at every one.Don't help we have roadworks inbetween 2 sets of lights as they are building a Aldi just up the road.So rush hour is down to one lane either way till november.
I have today off but haven't decided what i'm doing yet,other than catching up with comps. Hope you all have a lucky day.

Morning peeps. No rain here but it is a bit dull. Clouds overhead. Legs are a bit wobbly ff but walls are helping. It feels like I am drunk. Think virus is still working. Wishing it would go away. Hope everyone is well.

Loving the pics today, thanks everyone.

We have had rain on and off most of the day hope thoses waiting for it will get it soon.

Agree with others firefly you should change taxi companies. Hope DH's app went OK.

Another busy day here, went to breakfast with DH and DD this morning and took car to get it checked out but its OK thank goodness. Seem to be doing a lot of spending on it the last 18 months or so.

Fire**fly, hope DH's app went ok xx DD1 had a hospital app yesterday too but we are lucky to have bus stopping right outside hospital. I took her for a costa hot choc while we were in there!

I know what you mean about washing and ironing Leanfun, it's never ending! Do you have one of those magic refil washing baskets too!

I've just booked a little break in Blackpool for me and the kids. I haven't told DH yet he's not coming because he's looking after the dog! (I might phone him when I get there!) :rotfl:

Had myself a wonderful time yesterday - spent most of the
day out in my garden pottering about.



It started to spit with rain about 4.00'ish but soon fizzled
out - no good to man, beast or land!

Thankfully we've had more rain during the night so hopefully
the ground has had a well deserved drink and I won't be
needing to water plants this morning. :T


It's 'International Body Piercing Day' today - anyone hiding
a secret piercing?

Great you had good day in garden Alfie. Rained here yesterday too and in night so everything very wet.

Wingo pleased you have booked a break not sure about how your DH will take it left with Jasper.

Rose sorry to hear virus has not cleared. DS and SiL had it for ages in winter. So know how bad it can be. Do hope it goes soon. Take care.

I was awake early so tried to catch up with comps. Must say I was wondering what some of the prizes were.

Well the rain has stopped at last. Think we probably needed some too but it is also due to come back tomorrow!
Don't know if it was on much of the Uk's news yesterday but the hotel DS3 works in , Gleneagles was robbed by armed men yesterday. It was the fancy jewellers inside the hotel really. They have really upmarket retail units on ground floor there (the sort you look through window at and say it can't be worth that!) DS was making sandwiches for policemen and news crews at one point. Must have been scary for the staff though.

Great you have a break booked wingo. Love Blackpool. We were there in January but haven't booked anything else there for this year. Haven't ruled it out for winter though. DD is going in Sept to see "Hairspray" I think, she booked a £30 night B&B at Village hotel when their Jan sale was on but will need to find somewhere else for the Saturday.

Glad car was OK Sylvia. They can be expensive things!
