You did the WRONG THING, sorry to say. NEVER PAY DRP

DRP are powerless debt collectors and you have been conned

You have full right to cancel such an agreement.

Have they taken the first payment yet even though you cancelled the card ?

Nobody, DRP or bailiffs will NOT be calling on you

NEVER GIVE CREDIT/DEBIT CARD INFO TO SCAMMERS.

My girlfriend says it takes about 3 days to take a payment so they may get the first payment they may not my girlfriend got a letter excetly the same about hers and she said they not getting ***** off me

To understand this, before a bailiff can call, it needs court action and that is not happening.
DRP are used by parking companies to scare people.
    NOTHING WILL HAPPEN

With electronic systems the chances are high that they have taken the first payment whilst you were on the phone.

You were probably coerced by DRP to do this.
"persuade (an unwilling person) to do something by using force or threats."

There are laws to protect you against unscrupulous traders such as DRP. I ASSUME YOU HAVE NOT SIGNED AN AGREEMENT with DRP

i havnt hand signed anything mate
  • they didnt ask for my account number or sort code or anything all they asked for is my long number and expiry date

Point 1 ... I am not your mate

Point 2 ... Card payments have nothing to do with bank account numbers or sort codes

Point 3 .... No signed agreement = no contract

Not true as coupon-mad says, any new card is attached to your account
  • well if they only took my 3 digit code and long number off front and expiry date that long number changes so does 3 digit one if you request a new card they didnt ask for my account number or sort code
