Samsung repair scam

Last week, my Galaxy S6 failed to charge and died. I contacted Samsung who decided I had to send it to their repair centre (Anovo) in Norwich. UPS came and packed the phone. I know the driver, so I know he will verify it had no visible damage as I had kept it in a cover since getting it, and it was near pristine. I have only ever used a Samsung charger and have never updated or installed anything. It's a phone I use for calling, texting, playing Candy crush on, going on Twitter and FB. Nothing else.
I had an e-mail from Samsung giving me alink to follow regarding the repair, and apparently, the phone had been repaired when i looked at it, and that status is still showing on their system.
2 days later, I received an e-mail from Anovo claiming it was damaged and attaching a photo as proof. They want £199.39 for the repair.That damage looked like a screwdriver had been rammed into the recharging point, and it certainly wasn't me who did that.
I phoned them and they just sneered that they had the final say on whether a repair was within the scales of the warranty.
Samsung have been worse than useless and broken promise after promise regarding contacting me. I've been waiting 3 days for a promised phone call!!!
A look at the reviews for Anovo is very telling, and one bloke has even been quoted the exact same price for a repair for some other damage.
Needless to say, I will never buy another Samsung product, but where do I stand now?

Have you got photographs of the phone taken after you had booked the repair with them but before it was collected?
If Samsung directed you to call an 0843 number to discuss the issue, be sure to claim back the call costs. Usage of a premium rate number for that purpose has been illegal since June 2014. The regulations give callers the right to a refund of call costs.0
