Talk Talk late payment charges

Hi,
I changed my bb provider from talk talk to bt in November 2016, I received my "final bill" from talk talk on Nov 11th which should have been paid by 24th Nov, I didn't pay it until Nov 29th.
In Jan this year I received a late payment charge bill of £10, which I suppose is fair enough, but I honestly didn't know I'd made a late payment or incurred the charge, I didn't do anything about it because I wasn't sure that I actually owed the money at the time.
This month I have received another bill for another £10 for not paying the first £10 on time !!!.
My question is, the first £10 is a late payment charge , it's not for providing any goods or services, so my thinking is that, it should be a final charge regardless of how long it takes me to pay it, is it legal to charge me another £10 late payment charge for not paying the first £10 late payment charge on time?

Why didn't you pay the initial bill on time ?
Pay the 2 £10 now before you get a 3rd.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -
You agreed you paid the original bill late. You got a penalty for so doing and then you ignored it for a further month. If you really disagreed you would have raised it with them a month ago.
Agree with the above post. Pay before it becomes more expensive.0
