    When the European Communities Act 1972 is repealed all existing EU law will be brought onto the British Statute Book. This includes protection for EU nationals. It would take primary legislation through the House of Commons to remove those rights. It won't happen.

    To think that the Home Office could, if it wanted, deport 3m people is absurd. We can't even deport foreigners after prison sentences. It's not going to happen and people need to understand that.
