Courier left package on my doorstep, got neighbour to sign for it and it was stolen

I went mental at Amazon for repeatedly leaving parcels on my doorstep. They left one there on a Saturday while we were away for the long weekend. It wasn't stolen, but did get absolutely soaked. Anything left on my doorstep from now on will find itself "stolen" - its not an acceptable way to deliver anything more valuable than milk.
And fraud is not an acceptable way to react to something you take issue with.

I think not...Highly clustered satellites can result in large positional errors, up to several hundred meters. Although there is little that can be done to improve the situation in enclosed spaces.Don’t be a can’t, be a can.0 -

Op already said they tried that and the website didn't work.
The courier should not deliver it to any address other than the one on the package, unless they want to be held liable for people claiming they didn't receive their package.
This is all irrelevant anyways, the CRA states "Unless the trader and the consumer have agreed otherwise, the contract is to be treated as including a term that the trader must deliver the goods to the consumer."

They said website not phone. But the text does state that you should contact them with alternate arrangements like another day or to leave with a neighbour.
Did the OP get the text worded the same? To arrange to leave with a neighbour etc then contact them?
You didn't so they shouldn't.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
The text from DPD was worded as follows:
Your order will be delivered 9 Feb by DPD. Not going to be in? (And then they included a web link)
On the web link there was a variety of options, including reschedule delivery, leave with a neighbour etc. All of which is great, if it actually worked. I repeatedly tried to reschedule the delivery, each time getting an error something like 'delivery not rescheduled, try again later'. I couldn't find a phone number anywhere on the website.0 -
I'd done everything I could to try and reschedule the delivery, including contacting GAME directly, and attempting to contact DPD. Still not got my refund!0
