At least one of these businesses using a mail forwarding address as their business address and what looks suspiciously like a false name.

Pinkypants stated they don't say what grade the memory foam is .

Reading the full specification of the mattress construction on the Eve website it appears to be non-standard and composed of different layers so I'm not sure that it would be possible to give a grade for it anyway.

I'm not It sure either , quoting what pp said as she seems to know what she's talking about when it comes to beds. It appears there are" four glorious centimetres" of memory foam in this memory foam mattress.

They are made in the UK and claim to be the worlds most comfortable mattress.......... there must be a surplus of thousands of used Eve mattresses due to the 100 day trial.

    Says it all really.

I don't know how memory foam is graded, I assumed it would be more than just the depth, but it's definitely not something I have any expertise in (I don't think I've ever even slept on one). Probably PP does, although as you haven't linked to the other thread I haven't read it myself.
  • Ew I would never buy a second had mattress (and would steer clear of ebay as there's always a risk that new isn't new.)

Personally I would go to ikea; good prices and good quality.

I wasn't suggesting it was just depth. The quote " four glorious centimetres is from
    Their website, not me.

    E.g. Pinky pants said

"No mention of what grade the memory foam is, nor how much memory foam it has either.

A decent memory foam mattress is at least V60 or V85 and around 2.5 inches.

Eve is just another gimmicky product with very good marketing. If it was any good it'll be in all the shops.

Stick it either Tempur or Healthbeds for a decent all foam mattress. If you want springs and foam then Kaymed are fantastic."

Or you could try a waterbed, I have a back problem and I find it fully supportive yet not solid like a brick.....

We bought one but drifted apart:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
  • Similar to the Eve, we went and bought a Simba mattress last month.

Never experienced comfort like it before, would recommend 100%.
