have done a sun/shade analysis?
If this is south facing a lot will be in shade late afternoon and evening.
The sunny spot then, might be the top left corner.
do you want greenhouse, shed, power, where will the outside tap go0 -
A click on link from OP has just had my computer saying "Threat has been detected" and flashing at me.0

Your computer is being a paranoid neurotic .... surprisingly!0

My two-cents worth:
- have a border along the fence line, but avoid making it a straight line - put some curves into it especially the corners.
- fix some suitable brackets to the side on the garage wall - for hanging baskets.
- I'd avoid ideas of 'internal walls' - cost and what happens if you change your mind - brick walls can be too solid. Consider instead using sleepers.
- How old is the household, do you have children, that want to play football in the garden - if no, consider having a greenhouse.
- Do you have a dog, or cat? If no - you could consider adding a water feature to the garden, and chill out watching the fish.

Draw out a plan of the garden on a piece of paper. Photocopy multiple times. Plonk different things in different places on each one and spend time thinking about this would actually work in practise. What do you actually want to look at? Do you want a sunny corner to sit in? Do you want to grow veggies, or have masses of flowers everywhere? How much money do you have available, and how much work are you willing to do yourself? Children? Play area? Grass? How much maintenance are you willing to do?
Really, none of us can answer this for you - you need to sit down and think about what you want, come up with a plan and then come back and ask for advice. I had loads of fun coming up with ideas for ours - 2.5 years on and we're progressing (slowly) towards my 10 year vision of the place
I would definitely add height, but not with anything too solid - think trellis/pergola/archway etc. Lots of gardens end up quite boring because they lack variation in height.0 -

I like the shape of the lawn in your pic. Download pinterest if you don't already have it, it's great for inspiration.0
