Due to my job I get a lot of padded envelopes through the post - these generally have a thin layer of bubble-wrap glued to their inner surfaces.
Is there any kind of shredder which will handle these or am I better off burning them? I have loads of the damn things but don't want to spend an eternity cutting off the address labels before I put then in black bin bags (besides my address, also often contains order related information).

I get a lot of these in the office. I tend to just tear off the address from the front (leaving the bubble wrap inner layer) and shred that. The rest is recycled.Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

Sadly most of the labels on my padded envelopes seem to be stuck on with extra strong adhesive so they only come off in little pieces. I haven't the time to spend picking off bits of labels.
I was just hoping for a good, strong shredder which would handle the padded envelopes - the shredded material could then be used for packing material which would save me a fair bit on bubble wrap.0 -
Pair of scissors and cut the label off and cut it up, remainder into the waste bin.0

You need a cardboard box shredder.
Warning => they are not cheap

I suspect you mean you put it in the recycling, from where I would expect it to be separated out and go to landfill.Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

Sharp stanley style knife to cut around the label or scissors.
As long as your not flytipping does it matter if the address is left on the packet?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
