Anker make good ones - have a look around on Amazon for one that's the right size and price.0

Lots of Youtube videos about cheap powerbanks being opened up to find grossly inadequate rechargeable batteries and empty space. Worth paying more for a reputable brand.0

Would either of these do?

Amazon is a better place to look for this sort of stuff - you can see all the feedback. I go for the brands with good feedback that sell lots on the assumption that they might have a reputation they want to keep eg Anker, Jackery,, Easyacc, lumsing0

I have a PNY powerbank which works well.0

I go with Anker first rate products well designed like this one teardown https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqAdZibP1Vo&t=2s.
The product above probably now replaced with new model uses good quality high capacity 18650 panasonic batteries. Some cheaper makes may use fake low quality batteries.
I got one for xmas with bluetooth speaker unfortunately bluetooth didn't work, and they sent a replacement same week. I got a refund for original one from Amazon and Anker just sent me a new one for free
I have a few Anker products and rarely let me down, reason why I keep buying Anker is reliability, I accept on occasions things do go wrong and they were really good about it.0 -
J B - your first link has nothing to do with Anker, it's just a cheapo charger. Could be good or bad, I dunno.
Second one does claim to be Anker, but you run the risk of fakes on eBay. If you've time to dig a bit and find out (user feedback for example) go for it.
And it's on Amazon cheaper:

You need to balance out: how much you want to spend, how much power you want to carry around, how much bulk/weight you want to carry around, and what ports you need.0 -

If its a partial charge then a twin 18650 powerpack with decent branded batteries will do, if you want a full charge from flat then a 3x 18650 pack will be better.
Depends on your phones battery and how much of a charge you need. A single 18650 wont be more than 3000mAh. Generally they use 2000mAh batteries because they are considerably cheaper. So a single 2000mAh battery will not put 2000mA into your phone. The charger will have power losses so to charge a 3.5Ah phone battery your going to need more than 4Ah worth of power in the powerbank.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
