That is odd and sounds like a glitch (technical term;))
Understandably, they are busy but their phone lines are open 24/7. Maybe try again later this evening?

Tried to open second one recently, said already had 2 current?
Called up problem was incomplete application in 2016 when I opened 1st. Still live on system?

Similar thing apparently . Finally got through with a number where the man on the other end put me through free. Good job too as I was ages again getting through. Already wasted over £5 . She was very sorry etc but very sorry doesn t give me the money back does it . Opened one now so thanks to all who replied to me.0
