It is lovely and happens everywhere on our lonely single track road. People take the opportunity to pass on messages or have a quick chat if they see someone's car outside a house. The problem yesterday was one car outside my place with a neighbour and son then her husband rolled up with his Landy and one passenger who parked nose to tail with his wife's car, then his father turned up and just stopped in the middle of the road causing another neighbour to be held up until greetings and messages were exchanged. From having no-one else in my house within 20 minutes there were six and then they all melted away again.:rotfl:

I went out for a walk earlier, heard a very loud noise and actually ducked down as low flying RAF Typhoons roared overhead. Seems from the news they were on their way to escort a Russian plane out of UK airspace. We often get these planes doing low level training sorties which sometimes break the sound barrier. Scares the geese to death!
