Scanning help please.

Thanks for all the useful replies, have just got back from work and had speed read through them, will go back and look at them properly now.

That's what I'd do. Make sure the software is installed.
I usually scan into "The Gimp"
"File /Create/Scanner Camera" should come up with a list of scanners etc.

Hi all,

Cheers again for all the suggestions :T

I installed the drivers etc and all ok - i had forgotten that hadnt done this when had new hard drive fitted, and as i had only used the Deskjet for printing and photocopying since then,i never got round to doing it.
