Before you have a seriously unhappy son at christmas, be warned that none of the phones suggested is what he would like. :AWell life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.0 -

Maybe not, but it's always makes good economic sense to look at options that do not match specified requirements. I for one determined to have MP3 capability on my next phone, but after seeing the design and build quality of the Sagem my150X, I went for that instead.

It would've been helpful if you'd said that the phone you suggested did not meet the requirements.
I am sure the Sagem150x has the design & build quality that any child is searching for.Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.0 -
It's not a slider or a flip phone but the SE W200i for £49.99 on Orange looks good. It's got an MP3 player, expandable memory, a camera (VGA resolution only but that is good enough for using the pictures on the phone). If this has been of any use please click on THANKS, it makes me look good.0

Or if you can stretch a further ten quid you can get the Samsung E250 Black from Phones4u.If this has been of any use please click on THANKS, it makes me look good.0
