New login screen for me but can't put in pass number as the three boxes are greyed out.

Just logged in to find the new "improved" login screen, I tried to put my memorable data in but the drop down boxes remained greyed out, when you first registered you were asked for three other items of memorable data if you enter one of these you can then use the drop down boxes.
I think they are trying to get us to use a card reader

I can't even get past the Log In page with the new improved site.
A message says my browser is not recommended and various actions won't work (like Log In?!)
Safari browser, outdated IOS, using a Luddite2 tablet. At least the App works, for now.0 -

I logged in OK using Windows7, Firefox and a card reader. After logging in the interface appears unchanged.0
