It's best to wait for the first one to be active, then apply for second one that's what i did no problems. Interest is calculated daily and paid monthly, so that you could withdraw your £7.50 approx out every month and find another interest bearing home for it, leaving a maximum balance of £3000.0

How did you then answer the question about "Do you already have a Tesco account?" please ?0 -
I don't recall seeing that question when I applied.0

If you wait for the first account to be set up and then apply for the second account online when already logged into internet banking you will not be asked that question and will be presented with a shortened application as they already hold all your details.0 -
Brill. Thank you.0

This question confused me at first but then read is as meaning 'do you already have more than 1 account' therefore it will be fine to proceed.
I'm going to wait for my initial application to complete and then sign up again!
Edit - just seen noh's post, will sign up through online banking for the 2nd account.0 -
Trying to apply you get a question do you already have any current accounts with Tesco and if the answer is yes you are exited from the application process.one of the first questions it asks is whether you already have an account ? If you answer no to proceed, what do you do to make the second account different from the first ?DonnySaver wrote: »How did you then answer the question about "Do you already have a Tesco account?" please ?0

Just about to open 1st Tesco account, I'm at the submit details, but it asked for my banking details, I don't want to switch from my current bank and a little concerned that as they have the details they'll switch is there another page after this to say no to switching? sorry for being dim. Put your current sort code and account in.
Next page askes if you want to switch or not at this time. The world is not ruined by the wickedness of the wicked, but by the weakness of the good. Napoleon0 -

They always ask for an existing account's details to verify ID. I checked with them over the phone that they would not switch the account.0
