Hi,
Not sure if this is the right place to post my query, so please advice if I'm wrong.
I am wanting to sell my ecommerce website. I Set it up two years ago, but unfortunately due to some personal circumstances I haven't had the time to commit to it. I now have taken on an employed job instead, and will no longer need this website.
Can anyone advise, where is the best place to sell it? I paid £3000 for the design and set up. And pay £18 a month for the hosting. It is an ecommerce site, but unfortunately due to circumstances changing suddenly, it never had the chance to take off, so profit was not made.
Looking forward to some feedback!
Thanks

You need an ecommerce site for ecommerce sites !!
Such as websitebroker.com or websiteclosers.com

eCommerce selling what?
Any domain can be made into an eCommerce website with the right hosting and configuration.0 -
If it never made any profit on just £18 a month hosting I'd hazard a guess that it's value hovers close to zero.0

Im guessing the OP means a pre-built ready to go ecommerce site, ready to go just waiting for stock list to be added.
Its only going to be attractive to a potential buyer if the domain name and the look/feel of the site matches what they plan to sell on there though !0 -
It's effectively an online pet shop. (Mainly specialising in dog related items)
I am aware it will only be of interest to someone wanting a similar business, I was merely wondering if people do actually buy these sites already set up? A new buyer would know The cost of a set up is not cheap, and it only needs one person to be interested in buying a pre-made site cheaper!0 -

Most folks on here would probably build their own for a lot less than £3000 , I think you are going to be writing it off to experience. If the domain name is worth buying then hang on to it until you get a good price, no point in paying 18/mth for hosting , download and save the content just in case someone wants it.4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex .
