Tree officer comeing to look at tree

well just to let you know, the tree officer turned up, i fed and watered him with tea and biscuits and then he told me there is no chance of removeing the tree as it is the only tree in the road, in a conservation area and it would ruin the roof line of surrounding properties. He bored me to death for nearly an hour on how wonderfull the tree is, i think he is a complete nutter. The plus point is he said i could cut 2 foot off the end of each branch so they didnt hang so low to the ground.0
