Buy Back Solar Panels

Any experience of signing up to Lightsource company they buy your solar panels and you keep the feed in tariff and get ownership back at end of your 25 year period. I expect the amount you actually get will be a lot less than you originally invested and I don't know how they can make their money. Sounds too good to be true! I can't add link to company as a new poster but you can find it on a search under sellmysolar

    Welcome to the forum.

There have been a lot of posts on this subject in the forum. I suggest you re-post in the 'Green and Ethical' section of the MSE forum and read the various threads.

As you suggest - it is too good to be true! - the deals are very poor. Also beware of vested interests(presumably) people from firms offering the service, trying to argue in favour of the scheme.

    See this thread!
