Will definitely think twice before posting on here in future.
We have a very low opinion of fee charging DMC's on MSE.
These companies profit from other people's misery.
The average "fee" is around £500 per year, plus whatever there initial cut was, you must forgive people for been a bit passionate in there objections to them.

So you expect me to go in to the exact details of our case against HB on a public forum? I think not. They have mismanaged our account as I have already said and have not delivered the service they are contracted and paid to deliver. Why do I need to say more?
Perhaps you should just stop making assumptions! I came here for help - not to be made to feel stupid and even worse than I do already.0 -
You're not stupid. We're not judging. We accept that HB are thieving gits.
We just don't understand why you're still giving said thieving gits any more of your cash, that's all. Calm down.

Your first post specifically asked us for advice on your situation. We've given you that.
You can post as much or as little as you like on a public forum, but we can only advise you based on what information you make available to us.
No-one has called you stupid, no-one has made any snide insinuations and no-one has judged.
We've offered you our views, given you our advice based on years of experience, usually personal experience, and we have asked questions to try and understand. We can't and won't force you to do anything, but getting angry at people who are genuinely offering you their help expecting nothing in return seems counter productive.
If you feel suicidal (as you mention in your first post) then please contact your GP or contact the Samaritans. You can call them for free any time on 116 123 and you can be as anonymous as you want - they will listen to you and support you if you want them to.DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Hi. We can only work with the facts you give us, when we don't know the full story we try and fill in the gaps.
The facts as we know it are that you have been stitched up by HB, you have paid them a lot of money and have not received the service you require. You have tried to get it sorted but haven't got anywhere. You are angry. You are staying with them.
We have told you what we think of fee charging debt management companies, basically they are sharks only out to line their own pockets. We want to steer people away from using these, and either go to a charity with no fees, or advise on self management.
Millions of people make the same mistake you have, it is no reflection on your intelligence, you are not stupid. You were taken in by a lot of advertising and sweet talking promises that haven't materialized. They are the bad guys.
Now we want to help you, and you put up barriers, and you are judging us. We are the good guys here. I suggest you take a deep breath, and walk away for a while. We will be here when you come back.
IlonaI love skip diving.

All of the replies that you have had thus far are from decent, knowledgeable individuals that have tried to help you. I see nothing in any of their replies that should cause you to take offence. They have offered advice based on the information that you have given them. NONE of the responses were critical or judgemental. If there is information or circumstances that you have not or do not wish to share that is entirely your decision. But don't have a pop at those that are trying to help you because you don't like the replies. They cannot take into account information that your do not wish to share.0 -
i'm not sure what you want then OP? you have said that you're not moving until it is sorted and then you're going to stepchange. you said you're not getting the service you're paying for and have appealed this but will not give any more details. if you're not getting a service then you don't pay for it. that is simple and smart advice which has been given here.
i understand this is taking a toll on your mental health which will make you feel defensive about your choices. if you still wish to continue paying a company that you're unhappy with and considering legal recourse against, that is of course your decision. but people will only give you the advice they think is best for you in a situation - in this case, minimise any future losses by moving to a free charity. this won't affect your rights in regards to your action against HB. but for whatever reason you have chosen, you don't wish to do this - that is your right. but i don't think there is anything we can advise you on.CCCC #33: £42/£240
