Thinking of you and your family Lainey0

Good morning all,
Happy hump day.
Yesterday was a good day. Productive in my work and home to make a lovely, easy and healthy salmon with steam veg. Leftovers for lunch today. Afterwords I made low-carb cookies to satisfy my sweet tooth then read some before nodding off.
As usual, I've been to the gym already this morning and I've got football tonight, so it's going to be a spend day. My oil light came on in my car so I'll nip out at lunch and buy some oil and also water for my window washers.
Jackie - A belated happy birthday. Hope you had a super day
Judi - Hope you feel better soon
Lainey - Sending you my thoughts and hugs for today0 -
Morning (((((((((( hugs )))))))))) if you need one especially Lainey and family. Today will be a difficult day, once it's over you can grieve properly for your Mum. I hope it's not wet, funerals always seem worse if it's wet.
Bad night, it was after 2am before I dropped off, slept in this morning.
It's a horrid grey morning, I was hoping to do some laundry thoughts of getting it dry outside are fading........0 -
Morning,
Hugs to Lainey today xx
Not too bad a day here ,there is some blue sky and I've just taken Ly1a out for a little walk, the first since she hurt her leg last Friday. She is still limping a little bit but putting weight on it again now.No idea how she did it,probably pulled something in 1 of her giddy moments.
I'm going to go into town shortly,I've hardly been out for over a week what with me having a cold, then the dog being sore.Don't intend spending much but DH has finished his book so I'll do a trek of the charity shops.I've got a chicken out for later, gammon steak for DS2 ,DGD can take her pick of either.DS2 caught my cold and its affecting his asthma,he ended up coming home from work yesterday.
Better go and get sorted, take care everyone xx:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)0 -
Morning all. Thoughts with Lainey today.
Up late this morning. Girly sleepover last night. We cooked healthy food, lots of it, and ate, lots of it, and talked. Great. In bed by 10.30. Party girls.:D
Could I have good luck wishes for DH today. 3 hr career make or break exams. One am, another pm.
Must think of something nice to cook him for dinner when he gets back from Dundee. Steak maybe.
Have a good day everyone. Leftover granola and mixed fruit for breakfast (I.e last nights leftover Apple, pEar and Berry Crumble:D) with Skyr instead of custard.Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -

Thinking of you Lainey, I hope it goes as well as these things can.
Fingers crossed for Mr FurryBeast Oz.
DH's birthday but we are going to DD's to do a few things to help her resettle into the house after the renovations, then back to wait at DS' fora delivery, then to LOndon for a meal and comedy show (about Brexit which I have rather lost my sense of humour about so I hope it's ok).
Better go.0 -
Lainey thinking of you and your family today which will be a hard one for you all take care and try to think of how much she knew she was loved by everyone, concentrate on the good memories as much as possible, she will always be in your heart and head xxx
Dark and dismal looking day today very overcast and wet at the moment, This afternoon I have my U3A meeting and I'm not sure who the speaker is yet. then I am out for dinner again tonight.I shall be the size of a house at this rate, as I am out for dinner tomorrow as well !!
Spoke to DGS Ben last night and he is looking forward to coming home for the weekend this week(and so am I ) he is off to Dublin with his girlfriend for the weekend at the end of the month for a couple of days and he said they have arranged to visit the Cliffs of Moher on a coach trip as they were told its well worth seeing and hopefully they will find a buzzing place in Dublin to visit in the evening which won't streetch their budget too much. He is taking his next brother down Jack to a pop gig at Alexandra Palace on Friday night as a birthday treat for him as Jack will be 17 on the 25th of this month. The four boys may argue at times but they really are good friends underneath and would walk through fire for each other.
Henry (15 ) is deep into his GCSE revision and will be pleased when the exams are out of the way. The youngest Mikey (12) is just a happy little soldier who is always laughing at life, he is my little shadow and we play some serious games of cardsand he is quite good at it as well.
Well enough waffling its high time I had a coffee or two
Hope everyone's day is peaceful and you all keep warm and dry
Thanks once again for all your good wishes I really did get thoroughly spoiled by all of my family and friends yesterday
Cheers chums
JackieO xx

Good morning,
Finally caught up with past days posts.
Nmlc thank you for thread.
Lainey thinking of you today X
FBO best wishes for DH exam results!
Marie thank you for DH's birthday wishes!
Snoozer happy birthday to your DH!
JackieO February birthdays, it's all the fault of the rising sap in May, Spring is well established by then and things happen LOL
Very tired, this morning I was up at 6 for homeless breakfast shift, then back home had a nice hot bath (first time in ages! I have quick showers mostly) then back to bed. Porridge breakfast in bed courtesy of DH and really feeling like falling asleep but alas I have Pilates at 11 so no can do.
Church lunch at 12 (am shift cook) soup is ready and luckily DH is helping carry it before I finish Pilates, so all I will have to do is sort out cheeses and fruit and then serve up.
At 4pm gym assessment for GP referral fitness programme, then I think I will hibernate for 24 hours!
Ah before I go, went to the dreaded WW weigh-in, lost 5 and 1/2 lbs, so the starvation was worth it after all. Will see how this week goes.
Have a good day. Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -
Thinking of LaineyT today.
Also good wishes to Mr FB and to those who are unwell, worried or sad.
Not much to say here really It is a miserable day and I have just taken a pan of flapjacks from the oven. One lot of washing done. I need to Hoover and attack the ironing.I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back0
