Need info/help regarding credit file

  • Hi, Trust me it has been going on for that long, hence my now legal route and I have no reason to make things up, and its the bank who are asking for my credit file, not the dca.

    Noddle, Clearscore & Equifax arduino the reports you need although as has been mentioned above you don't need to prove anything to them they need to prove to you.

    Have you sent a "prove" it letter to the Debt collection company?
  • Ok. Bloke receives a letter from British Gas, saying 'you owe us £1000 from a property you lived in during 2005'. Bloke never lived in the property in 2005. Why should the bloke go to the effort of proving that he didn't live here in 2005 so didn't owe the debt? You need to tell them to prove that the debt is yours, you shouldn't be doing the leg work for them. Just make it easy on yourself and save yourself the work, and send them a 'prove it letter'.
