Mobile broadband with strong connection?

Hi all,

Currently having my wifi constantly disconnecting, I'll be changing providers in about three months time when the contract is up.

Until then I need a good connection for skype calls with no disconnects, was thinking of getting a pay as you go dongle or other mobile broadband offering for this.

Has anyone got any experience with one which has a strong connection? I appreciate that the strength of the signal is area depdendent.

Tethering where I am is poor.

thanks

Why not work out why your Wi-fi is having issues? Is it due to interference? Is it due to what your house is made of?

Have you tried using a wired connection instead of wifi? As the wifi is disconnecting, it sounds like a connection issue between your router and computer, rather than a problem with your provider.

Have you got a smartphone? If so, have you connected your smartphone to your wifi and does the same disconnecting problem occur?
