Halifax & FOS Rejected PPI Claim

they seem to have ignored everything they have been told up to now and reverted to their original unprovable claim
I also sincerely doubt an actual Ombudsman would over turn the adjudicator decision, nor do I fancy the Op's chances in court.0 -

Neither do I, it's just the OP was told back on the 8th that they either accept they were not miss-sold or go to the Ombudsman and posting here was pointless and yet they've come back reiterating the same points they were already told are irrelevant or unprovable...Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

I'm certain an Ombudsman referral is now in the works...0 -

My reading of it is that the FOS wrote to the OP and rejected it because of the lack of proof and so on. OP then asked for a copy of the full file, which the FOS sent which said the same thing in more detail and OP has copied the accompanying letter on here.
The issue will be how long they keep posting on here instead of referring up to see if the Ombudsman agrees with their claimsSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
