Virgin Economy Seats Upper Deck

Morning All,
Has anyone sat in the exit row seats upstairs on the LGW - Las Vegas flight? I want to book them but remember when I sat downstairs on the exit row the door protruded into the window seat so you had to sit at a bit of an angle and I wondered if it was the same upstairs?
Thanks

Pedrobandito,
It might be worth phoning VA customer services and getting confirmation that the window seat does need to be paid for.
I used to fly with Virgin from LGW on a 747 and I always tried to get seat 25A (Left hand window emergency exit seat).
There was a charge of £50 for 25B/C but 25A was free because it was classed as restricted legroom due to the protruding exit slide in the door.
This protrusion didn't bother me in the slightest as it was still a few feet in front of the seat and left plenty of room although as you stated, you do have to angle your feet slightly.0 -
Thanks for all the help, have booked seats 75 H,J & K0
