I was told by the salesman that I could pay the whole ammount of the finance straight away and only pay 1 or 2 days interest but the finance manager said I had to wait 6 months to settle but then backtracked when I rang VW Finance to confirm which one was correct.
Try to pick your car up at the beggining of the week and you can get away with only paying 1 days interest, I picked the car up on a Friday and had to pay interest for the weekend which was still only a few pounds compared to the discount.:)If at first you don't succeed, sky diving is not for you!0 -
I have just entered into a PCP agreement for a car. When can I settle the agreement, today some 12 days before I receive the car, or do I have to wait till I have taken receipt of the car?0

I think you will have to wait until the vehicle is in your possession, the finance agreement will start from that date.0

Sorry to interrupt. iI was hoping in getting an advice . We sign a PCP contract with Nissan a month ago . We paid £2000 deposit , amd run a quick drive test. There was a problem with the car that we noticed from the drive test, but the agent assured us everything is fine . We took it and after 7 days decided to get the car back as the problem was still there . They made us pay another £945 . And didn t give out deposit back .. so we ce lost almost £3000 for keeping the car one week. Is this how thinga works ? Pr maybe I should contact someone to make a complaint avout .. thank you0

Wait...
You paid a deposit for a car
Returned it due to an issue
Had to pay £945 to return the car
Didn't get your deposit back
Did I read that correctly?0 -

Sounds horrendous. I am assuming this is a used car? Please start a separate thread as this is a completely different issue to the thread you have hijacked.0 -

Yes ... kind of . It was a used car , and when pressing and releasing the break there was a ready loud noise . They said is fine , nothing wrong . We kept the car for a week and the noise was still there . Wewent back to them and they said to try drive with radio on , that it s usual for automatic nissan cars to have this noise .. then we decided to give the car back . It was within the 14 days of the cancellation , but they ve made us pay £945 , extra and said that we could not take the deposit back . Is there any organisation on anyone adviced to contact ?? Or what can i do ?0
