Small claims

WhatTF
Been referred to small claims for 300 quid on a 3 year old ticket. In a fit of pique I turned down mediation so presumably will now go to court...so what happens next??
If awarded against me* and don't pay, are they likely to instruct bailiffs? I can live with a ccj, personally probably bailiffs (kids watch too much telly anyway) but my wife's not keen.
* glimmers of hope may be that expiry time on ticket isn't completed and my name spelt wrong on all correspondence.

Need more details. Which PPC, who is taking you to court, when did you receive the claim, what defence did you submit (that's really important)?0

have you ACTUALLY recieved court papers , have you acted on them yet0 -
Kept it deliberately vague in case they're watching! BW Legal acting for Excel. Yes have court papers and defence was probably inadequate..0

Retail park. Had been in a restaurant (delayed by child going for a wee) close to the car park but when I appealed to them they said it didn't belong to them. Ticket on car, arrived while it was being written. Initial demands I don't recall, went quiet for a bit before notice of referral to BWL on 29/06/2016.0

Pay and display. Overstay. Don't know how long. Maybe 10 minutes. I still have the ticket but the P&D expiry is not completed. Time seen: 14:37 / Time issued 14:41 / Driver present: Yes0
