Nokia 3220 not ringing long enough

My Mum's recently bought a Nokia 3220 and it's great except it doesn't ring for very long before going to voicemail. There's nothing in the manual about allowing more rings before it cuts off and I can't find anything in the menus. I've tried different tones and they all last for a few seconds before ringing off. Does anyone know how to change the length?

I don't think there is an option on the phone to set the ring length before it goes to divert, it may be a network option, try ringing your operator.

Ring customer services and they can change the length the phone rings for. I think I had mine changed to 15 rings with vodafone.

What network is she on?

She's on O2.

K,Tell her to scroll the address book.There is an option in there that says

Voicemail OFF (1760)
Voicemail ON (1750)

Just click and ring the voicemail OFF option and it will turn it off

She still wants voicemail to kick in but not after just two rings!

if it's the same as mine, which is a nokia 3120, do this.....

go to settings
then call settings
then go to call divert
go down to divert if unanswered
click activate
click answer phone

then it will give you a choice of seconds it should ring for, from 5-30 seconds, then press select

That works on my 7250 but not on the 3220 - after Answer Phone there are no more options.
