When you do sausages wrapped round with a strip of bacon - do you fry them all first? Or put them in a piedish in the oven raw and cook them that way? I've decided to try and cook today :eek:

I second Monna's method. Put them in preferably an enamel pie dish. You can turn them over when one side looks done if you want.
Makes me feel like having some too, but I just used the last of the bacon for breakfast.0 -
I just wrap some bacon round the sausages, slap them on a baking tray or roasting dish & bung them in the oven, Wish I was having them now!0

Thanks everybody. Bloody disgrace that I'm 67 and still canny cook a sausage! I sometimes do try to do better - but we have found through horrible experience that it's best if I know my limitations
Having this for dinner with cauli and brocc (frozen from the freezer, not panic-bought in a scrum in asda lol). And home made chicken soup.0 -
