Hello,

Two hours parking limit, the driver MAY have overstayed
Arival time 11;43
Departure time 14:21

I have a receipt but at 14:18 which is still on over time
And its only for £9, when i tried to pay for parking lady said the ticket is not being accepted. There is a cafe in the market but i dont have any receipt .

Is there any chance of a win?

Why on earth should you keep a receipt for a coffee and a bacon sarnie?

Depends if they want to take them back at a later date for a refund.

    Best advice complain to Morrisons

most people use a card or a mobile app to pay for stuff like this anyway, like contactless cards , android or apple phones , or some of these pre-loaded cards that you top up

but there are a few who still use the old fashioned "cash" and want a paper receipt !!

doesnt make any difference what was used if you have proof of purchase and a MATCH and MORE card

my local Morrissons have NO CAR PARK CONTRACTOR at all, stay as long as you like , use their cafe , toilets , supermarket etc all free of charge , NO CARMAGEDDON at all, people park sensibly and use it sensibly , DAVID POTTS went just after he took over, so he may have taken note !! lol ;)

the important thing is not to accept this behaviour as a paying customer and to kick up such a fuss they realise it is damaging their business on the monitored car parks, whereas their "free" car parks do a roaring trade (our store is always full of people eating breakfast , lunch etc and doing their shopping too)

(they even have "free" lockers to park your shopping trolley whilst you eat)

Complain to the usual email 'no reply at' covered endlessly in every other Morrisons thread you search for and read.

  • Dear David Potts,

I’m writing to complain about a PCN received in the post from Parking Eye, I was very surprised and angry as I have never been forced to pay a fine for shopping. I’m already stressed as I have my own personal problems and another one is too much.
I never collect any receipts for grocery shopping, I have spent over one hour searching my home for evidence of receipts from Morrison’s to prove I’m a regular customers, unfortunately I have one from the day of the PCN and another from a different date.

    Ref Number: *~*~*@&@^@^@^

as i said im very green when it comes to any writing haha, is this something i can send to the ceo?

    what else should i add???

    thanks for the help
