    When a customer keeps something that's been wrongly delivered, or doesn't inform the retailer of the fact they've got it, posters on these forums are quick to call them a thief.

    I've never called anyone on this forum a [TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM] and I don't consider it appropriate to refer to the salesman in this instance a [TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM] either.

    I think the word (just as you quoted) was "for", not "from".

  • I think the problem the OP has is that he used the said named store in the first place - I bet a local retailer would have saved the OP a lot more than £100.
    (I don't believe for a moment that somebody somewhere could not locate the matress for a cheaper source)
