I am a trainee meal planner now. I have worked out what is in my cupboard and with help from old style have planned a weeks menu by only spending £27.72 for the week, recently i have been spending £70 plus so this is a huge improvment and i feel so much better for doing it.
Paid £50 off my vertbaudet debt today so that takes it down to £196.54. Paid £20 off my busy bees taking it down to £637.77.
Paying £137 off Littlewoods on the 16th of the month, which will bring it down, have to do that every month now, which is achievable but still difficult, i'll be able to pay more if i carry on with my menu planning!

 Aww well done honeybun - that's fab!
I'm kicking myself that I didn't hammer the food budget earlier, as we're also managing to free up some money to pay our debts that previously just went on food.
(even if we are having to eat a lot of value mince!)
Good on you sweetie! :T

Hello,
I don't have much I can help with regarding the bank, but you seem so determined to get on top of your payments, I am sure you will sort things out.
I have had depression, its so horrible. The one thing I would say is, don't give yourself more to do than you can cope with. I know someone that point blank refuses to do more than three things a day. So if she has to go to work, then she will only do two other things - like maybe the doctors and walk the dog, but no more. Thats how she copes with life.
Ask yourself if you really need to do the thing (whatever it is) and if you can cope with it. If you can't cope with it, please don't be hard on yourself. Give yourself the same compassion you would give to someone else.
I would also suggest taking a walk each day - its hard to discipline yourself to do this but it does really help.
I have been using meal planning and I have managed to half my shopping bill, its allowed me to do more baking which has pleased my family.
Keep your chin up, and know that there are lots of people thinking of you.
