self ticketing parking app

AN UNPOPULAR British parking firm has released an app designed to turn ordinary people into traffic wardens.
A company called UK Car Park Management has offered people a bounty of £10 if they use its app to grass up people who are parked illegally.
Traitorous busybodies will be able to confidentially submit pictures of fellow Britons in exchange for a small sum of money.
Their unlucky victims will then be hit with a massive £60 fine which quickly turns into £100 if they don’t pay up within 14 days.
The sneaky app is designed to trick customers into thinking they have been caught by a real parking warden and will mask the identity of the person who dobbed them in.
Landowners will also be able to use the app to set up their own no-parking zones.

    UKCPM cannot fine anyone..!

The OP and anyone caught by this should get themselves int to Parking Tickets Forum here and read the Newbies Sticky carefully to inform themselves properly and see the various ways to see these invoices-off..!

Well.....this is a money making scheme for all of us - but we only get our tenners for snapping the improper parkers when they pay their invoices.

Which they won't be if they do follow the advice in that forum!

(Shame the OP posted a link to this shameful operation thereby giving them lots of free advertising that any jobsworths reading your thread will hit on!)

Not quite like you say... looks like a service designed for landowners who don't have the resources or capacity to manage it or invoke the interest of a private company to manage it for them.

Not such a bad service for land owners considering how many parkers there are out there taking liberties

mmm dont think it is right and will not work but can understand the attraction. We have a small car park at work and it only just fits the staff cars in. We get fed up with people parking illegally. The number of times people have totally blocked it !!!! gets really bad during the summer when a little darling parks blocking us all in and we have to wait sometimes hours for them to come back so we can get our cars out. Always met with the usual torrent of abuse.
Happiness, Health and Wealth in that order please!:A

Surely restricting access to the car park would be the sensible option in this case.

I had this problem. The solution was to put a chain across the entrance and issue keys only to those entitled to use the car park.
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.
