I still don't understand why anyone would need to change their overdraft limit so frequently?

If you are gradually running up a higher and higher overdraft every month, then you need to take urgent action.

Find out why your money isn't lasting the whole month, and adjust your affairs accordingly (ie earn more, spend less)

If you just allow it to keep growing, eventually will simply run out of money and run out of credit. Then you'll have a much more difficult set of problems to deal with. Act now.

Just wait until you hear my views on posting questions about simple aspects of bank procedure which would be answered by a quick phone call on a forum - your mind will be blown.
