How do I coveert meter readings to 'costs'

Every month I submit meter reading to my current supplier (First Utility)

I've done this for a few years now.

Readings from 1-Feb-15 and 1-Feb-17 are as follows

Electricity .. 9411 kWh, so 4705 kWh per year

Gas 2904 m3, so 1452 m3 per year

My current deal with FU has just come to an end, but I haven't renewed it at present. I wanted to go online and look up possible new / better deals but need to covert these meter readings to the units on the comparison sites.

The numbers on your Electric meter represent actual Kwh used, so the cost of the Elec would be:
4705 x cost per Kwh, plus Daily Standing of ? per day x 365, plus 5% VAT

On your Metric Gas meter, each unit on the meter represents very close to 11.2 Kwh, so the cost would be:
1452 x 11.2 x cost per Kwh, plus Daily Standing charge of ? x 365, plus 5% VAT

Companies these day must quote prices inclusive of VAT, but it will be shown on your bill without VAT and VAT added at the end.
