Meant to say had loads on!To staying out of debt!
Credit card (Nov 2018):£894.60 . Emergency fund: £2000/30000 -
So took out £30 today with the hope that I'm not going to spend anything more on my card. Well Thursday night I'll have to use public transport but I'll check the amount spent and take it from the money I have withdrawn and put it back into my bank account.
I have friends staying sat night so I had to buy a blow up bed for £15. I asked around and no one had one but this is life! I didn't expect that many people to stay the memories made will be worth the £15! Also I can afford it - I'm just saving less. The cashback hasn't come through yet - I'll keep an eye on it.
This week I'll also need to get some milk £1 and I'll be buying a round of drinks probably as well - well maybe two as they are cooking me dinner. We'll see - either way I'll have enough put of my account to cover it.
Overall this has been a good month (not finically) but it's been a happy one. Here's to the next being finicially better and hopefully still just as happy!
I'm going to delete my spending app and reinstall to make some memory on my phone.
I'll prob message again but if not, have a good week everyone! 2 days till pay day

Hello,
So today is a very hung over day. God knows how much I spent - well over £100...probably more like £150:eek:
It was such a good night though. We don't go out as a group often but there is still no excuse. Everyone was in the same position though with the feelings of regret.
I'm proud of myself though I bought lots of food for my friends and they didn't eat it so I took it back! It woupd have been such a waste. Oh so the good news is in out of my overdraft :T . I'm really happy about that. I'm also not far off from paying for my holiday next year. Going away next weekend so aim for this week just to use freezer stuff.
I'm feeling really happy with my life at the minute - it's not perfect and I'm not perfect but I feel like I'm on the right road.To staying out of debt!

Love it when you get freebie food after an event! I'm in the same boat this weekend.
Well done about the OD. Post a list of freezer food meal to keep yourself on track?I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Hey cherryfudge that's a bloomin brilliant idea about the freezer idea. My freezer is a bugbear of mine. I suggested to my housemates that we could message our landlords and they get us a cheap second hand one with more freezer space as our one is old and manky - they didn't reply. So annoying but to be fair I haven't asked them directly. I don't understand why they didn't reply! Only today I was thinking if I had any soup left. I've got loads of lasagna and bacon bits which I'm going to plan into my week.To staying out of debt!

Whoop clicked too early!
So hopefully this month will be a cheap one. I've really started thinking about my holiday next year...I've got £500 saved and then by the end of the month I should have £560. I think in total it's going to cost ~£1500. Hmmm they were offering a few extra shifts at work - I'm going to take them up. I'm putting off calculating how much it will cost but this weekend I'm going to total it up. I can do this if I put my mind to it and I'm going to. Hmmm I might look up flights now.
Here goes...To staying out of debt!

So flights are not really out yet. I need to make a decision if I want to do 4 weeks or 3 weeks. If I do 4 weeks I need to ask if I can take a week from work unpaid...hmm seems like an intimidating conversation. 3 weeks should be ok as loads of people in the office do.
So I have saved £500 so far. Flights I'm aiming for £400 but the activity on holiday will cost ~£800. Realistically I need to start saving ~£100 a month + extra work shifts + 2nd job. Worst case scenario I use my emergency savings. Also this amount isn't including food, travel insurance and special clothing. Hmmm. Still 9 months until I go - I can do this!
So on the night out spent ~£110 inc food x 2 and travel. Still bad but I honestly thought it was much worse!
Going away this weekend, haven't packed at all! Also may need to buy some flat shoes ..defo days in heels are gone!To staying out of debt!
