The first week in Jan 2017 I sent my Samsung S6 to MyTrendyPhone for a screen repair. Advertisd on their website as a 3-5 working day turnaround.
4 working days later I received email notification of receipt.
another 5 working days later I received email notification of the phone reaching the repair cetnre
another 5 working days later I telephoned to ask about the progress. They said they would email me back.
The next day I received an email saying that the part was not available so they would offer a refund and return the phone.
5 working days later I received the phone. Still broken and having cost me £10 of my postage and possibly £8 of their postage.
I looked at my bank statement and a few days after they posted it I was charged the £165 (the screen repair is an expensive problem for these phones, everywhere is around £150 - £160).
I phoned them two days ago to ask why I had been billed and they said they would look into it and reply via email. No reply yet. I've tried phoning them today and no answer on the phone yet.
I'm grateful to have the handset back. I hope I can get the refund. I'd advise staying away from this lot though!

Refund arrived safely. Thank you for sorting.
Samsung repair centre fixed it in 3 hours for £10 more (but postage cost me £10 for MyTrendyPhone).Happy chappy0
