IMO you cant overcook meat in the SC it just gets more tender ,but never rubbery / chewy0

Another way to thicken things is to use a little instant mashed potato, works for thin soups too, but be sure not just to put the granules straight in otherwise you get powdery lumps, make it up first and add it in. HTH0

Lucky escape! But now I know..so won't do it again. Thats how we are meant to learn and improve though isnt it..by getting things wrong the first time.
Any suggestions for another easy recepie for a 2nd attempt with the SC??
Is chicken supreme easy to do/turn out nice?

I have put chicken, mushrooms, peppers and onions in my sc with a tin of mushroom condensed soup and then added boiling water.
It has been on since 8am and it was looking too runny so i added some chopped potato but it's still too runny!!
What do I thicken it with??
Thanks in advance for your help xx0 -
do you have any cornflour, mix with a little water to a smooth paste and then mix into the liquid from your slow cooker. This should help to thicken it.0
