Definitely a scam...I just got the same message and haven't driven for four months.

Yes it is a scam, never, never follow a link.

If you want to check it, i.e. you think it may be real, find the company by doing a search find their real website and find an email or contact page from that. I have just had the email, just the same. This time it has come from an holistic therapy website. The link runs an ASP script and probably tries to put a virus on your computer, I suggest running a full scan of your virus software.

I have had some of these too. Other things which gives them away as scams is the fact that they do not show your Reg No, name or parking location and also how many of us have given the DVLA our email addresses? So where have they got it from?

Never open links on anything which is not personalised - eg bank emails without your name and /or partial bank account number and parking emails without your registration number.

I have just received a similar email I checked CPS Enforcement Website and the following is a direct quote taken from their website. I have emphasised the important bit in bold....

"Important: Email Spam - appologies if in the past few days you have received parking notices by email. Please disregard these and DO NOT respond or click on any links as these can infect your device. Please note any notices from us are always sent via post."
