AIBU Is it ok to post on another social medium not to post competitions

I just have one observation, after all the blog comps that've been posted on MSE over the last few weeks -
(And I thank you for them as I do enter :beer: )

Why now that they aren't ??

I've won prizes this month which I absolutely love but don't add up to £50 previously to posting here I have won a huge amount more not taht I have to justify myself here but I was willing to win less so others can enter more.

Now people have pushed me out you can probably understand I don't want to miss out

Seriously I'm not having a go or asking you to justify anything, I appreciate all comps posted. It just seems a bit odd that they're annoyed now.

It's just you ....

It's all about the moral high ground and who can or cannot post competitions where.

I think it has turned into a posting race but I might be wrong. If the competition is posted on mse first then it is ok for somebody to enter it but if they post it first on their tweeter thingy then it shouldn't be posted on mse.

The only bit I don't get is how those of us not on Twitter ( and I fully accept that might only be me, the newt has an account) know if the competition has been posted there or not?

To some up sharing is caring but my toys are my own.

Right I'm bowing out of this thread so here's my take on it.

As several people have pointed out, it's a bit odd that bloggers are getting annoyed about comps getting posted on here. Blog competitions have been posted on here for ages and any that have a problem have requested that they don't get posted on here. Have admin received any requests over the last few days requesting blog comps not to be posted on here? probably not but would happily be proved wrong.

Therefore, by non-scientific analysis I deduce a case of either -

1. someone extracting the urine
2. worrying paranoia issues
3. some serious trolling
4. delusion of grandeur

It's rubbish any blogger wouldn't want them shared for more hitsthat's what gleam and rafflecoptors are all about! Promotion.

No one owns anything. Probably just want people to use their referal links so they get more entries themselves.
