I don't know why but your posts rub me up the wrong way every single time! I get a feeling that you have a highfalutin opinion of yourself.
You don't own the internet and you've no right to come on here (falsely) demanding people stop taking comps from your twitter feed. At the end of the day it's no big deal If you feel that strongly about it, block them or open another account.

Sorry had to take a nap - whole snot thing again.

I've just had more time to find and post comps being off snotty and all. I'm not on twitter myself as you might remember from my whole could you put TW on titles thing.

I had a pm asking me to post some competitions so I did. As far as I know it wasn't self promotion so I posted.

The timeline can be blurred after all somebody entered the pie competition minutes after it was posted on here ....

If a site doesn't want their competitions posted on MSE they can say so but they would need to be running the competitions not just listing ones that could be picked up directly or from other sites

Having now taken more cold tablets and re read the replies I feel this has been hijacked with a different issue.

The initial question was not if one can post publicly posted competitions on mse, even if they happen to have been "tweeted" by somebody with an anti mse bias but rather if one has stated publicly that they don't want competitions posted on mse where do we stand morally on them then clearly entering comps posted on mse? (within minutes of being posted might I add)

Sounds like someone trying to cause trouble again then moneybot they must of been copy & pasting from my twitter feed & asking you to post them here to cause trouble yet again.

I would of wondered why they could not post them them self?

This is a forum for entering and posting competitions. As I do the former I also do the later to pay back to others who do the former.

Not wanting to share because one has taken umbrage is maybe a bit petty especially when one is still using the forum to enter competitions.

If I am asked nicely to do something I will oblige (obviously not stupid requests). And we all know I am trying to get tea with Martin (like DUH).

None of the blogs I posted had anything to say they didn't want MSE entries and had had their competitions posted on here before mostly by Tick Two or looking further back Luckyone (GRHS).

You want the thanks you post the competitions.

You don't want them posted on mse then ask the bloggers to put that in their T&C or ask to have there names added to list list of companies that don't want their competitions posted on here.

Sorry Moneybot I think you have miss read my post

I have asked people to stop pasting & copying my twitter feed here because I am being stopped entering the comps myself because I get a lot of spam entries from here.

I don't think that's an unreasonable request

It's pinned on my twitter feed to not copy & paste them to any comp board/blog/website as well as MSE.

If people left me alone I would not be here, I've come here today & yesterday to answer & make pm's to the forum team.

I was very happy comping from MSE & posting on MSE but due to events over the weekend I have chosen not to comp or post comps here.

If the person or persons who are doing this stop then I have no reason to visit MSE.

It seems to me they don't want me here & why I have no idea I've just learnt I type pompously shrugs shoulders that can't be the reason could it? but want the comps I find & tweet on MSE

Okay I follow some but not all of that - thank you to all of you who have now sent me the twitter link gets me a bit more up to speed.

Not sure how a blogger would know they were getting mse entries from your twitter feed? And don't they run competitions to get entries?

I am really missing how you could have this posted

and then be surprised when it ends up on mse. Don't you think there must be a huge overlap been compers on mse and compers who tweet?

I sometimes think I am one of the few left who comp and don't tweet!

It also looks like you enter ones posted on mse by other posters. timeline of tweets - not totally sure about this I find twitter confusing even when not ill (have I mentioned I have a cold?).

I will continue to post any competitions I find or am asked to post with the usual self promotion not asking me nicely rules in place.
